That is unfortunate because a main attraction, for me, of the phpdev package is that it doesn't modify windows (registries, etc). But I think if Typo3 can be installed more easily by people that are not Linux and PHP experts, its user base will grow. Check This Out When I copy the executable command line and run from the prompt, they work fine.
