  • The oc4j-connectors.xml file was configured correctly: I am not sure why the adapter was missing, but fortunately I had a backup
  • The error message shows that the application.xml file is missing inside the EAR you are deploying.
  • This was resolved by manually extracting the XML's from the corresponding jars and placing them in the proper directories ..

But the deployment works fine if the ear is placed in the application-name folder itself.
