Only when we tried starting up the OC4J instance , it started complaining about missing XML files .. If it contains different versions of the same classes, it will be masked as the latter is already visible in the search path of loader current-workspace-app.root:0.0.0. why not find out more

We extracted the OC4J to its own directory , set the Java_Home and the Oracle_Home environment variables and were able to startup the OC4J instance. Does anyone have any input to this post? What I was trying to point out is that you can deploy a WAR directly, but OC4J will create an EAR automatically. I downloaded the Standalone OC4J ( 10.1.3 ) from otn.oracle.com and also downloaded JDK 1.5 Update 12 from the Sun Website and installed it on my local Windows XP machine.
