I did the download to a CD, loaded it to the troubled computer, never had to perform an Extraction as the instructions indicate (just double-clicked the uploaded file), and it did thanks. Go to Tools, Internet options, LAN settings and choose Automatically detect settings. I then installed Symantec EP to scan for any remaining viruses.
