The former version is known to have Wi-Fi connectivity problems with certain Apple devices.If the software needs updating see this article. Test I have done network reset, forget network, hard reset and any possible solution I could find on internet. thanks! If your Wi-Fi router only supports 2.4 GHz, the extender can of course still be used, but performance may vary depending on which band is used.
